Welcome Center
If you’re in Colorado Springs, we’d be delighted to have you visit our Welcome Center, located directly off the interstate! We’ve welcomed more than six million guests through our doors since opening the Welcome Center in 1994.
Guests can become better acquainted with Focus on the Family through a self-guided walking tour, as well as have fun with their children in the Kids’ Korner play area and Whit’s End Soda Shoppe.

Guided tours of the ministry that take place Monday through Friday (call ahead to confirm tour times)

Kid's Korner
Downstairs in the Welcome Center, young visitors will love Kids’ Korner, including A-Bend-A-Go, a three-story corkscrew slide that’s 76-feet long. Riders must be at least 43 ½ inches tall and no taller than 5’9″.
Whit's End Soda Shoppe
You’ll also get a chance to visit Whit’s End, a turn-of-the-century soda shoppe straight from the popular Adventures in Odyssey audio series.
KYDS Radio
Your child can record his or her voice on an actual Adventures in Odyssey episode written just for KYDS Radio. The complimentary CD or MP3 is sure to become a family keepsake. Space is limited, and reservations are taken onsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
Camp What-A-Nut
Toddlers (ages 0-4) can play safely in this room we designed especially for them.
Welcome Center
The Welcome Center and Bookstore are closed once a month for a staff chapel service. Chapel dates and times vary, so please check for operating hours before your visit by calling (719) 531-3400. Operating hours are also subject to change for building maintenance or other issues.

Directions to Focus on the Family
From I-25 in Colorado Springs, take the Briargate Exit (Exit 151) and merge onto Briargate Parkway.
From the first intersection at Voyager Parkway/CO-83, continue east on Briargate Parkway for 0.3 miles, and then turn right onto Explorer Drive.
Proceed 0.2 miles on Explorer Drive, and turn left onto the Focus on the Family campus, located at 8605 Explorer Drive.

• Children under the age of 10 are restricted from attending broadcast tapings. Additionally, there are occasions when the subject matter is not appropriate for anyone under the age of 18. If this is the case, the information will be available when you make your reservation to attend a taping.
