COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Focus on the Family is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of Family Central, a new retail store, in Holland, Michigan. The store is located at 215 Central Ave. Holland, Michigan and will open to the public on September 2, 2021. A grand opening ceremony is scheduled from 4-7 p.m.
This is the first time the ministry has expanded its retail offerings outside of its headquarters in Colorado Springs.
Family Central will include books, gifts, greeting cards and family-friendly products for all ages. The store will eventually include a dedicated interactive kids’ area where children can learn and play.
“We want to meet families where they are,” said President Jim Daly. “For decades, we’ve had the privilege of being invited into the lives and homes of millions through our daily radio broadcast, but with this new space we’ll be able to build relationships in person in hometowns, neighborhoods and communities. Holland is home to many families who love and support our ministry, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to our grand opening in September.”
A spokesperson for Lumir, LLC, Family Central’s landlord in Holland, also expressed support for the new store saying, “Lumir is very pleased to welcome Family Central to Holland. We believe they will be a wonderful addition to our thriving, family friendly downtown retail district.”
