Focus on the Family awarded “Best Digital Experience” and “Best Digital Campaign”
Colorado Springs, CO — Focus on the Family received two awards for their digital media campaigns from National Religious Broadcasters, an international association of Christian communicators. During their annual media awards, NRB announced Focus on the Family as the winner of “Best Digital Experience” for the Adventures in Odyssey Club app and “Best Digital Campaign” for SeeLife 2022.
Both awards will be presented at the 2023 International Christian Media Convention in Orlando, Florida in May.
In a statement, NRB President and CEO Troy A. Miller congratulated the winners, saying each demonstrated “the excellence and effectiveness of the NRB family in sharing the Gospel and advancing the field of Christian communicators.”
Adventures in Odyssey, Focus on the Family’s Christian radio drama for kids, will celebrate their 1,000th episode next year. Throughout its 35-year run, they have received numerous awards in the past, including “Radio Show of the Year” by NRB in 2020. The Adventures in Odyssey Club itself has members in more than 100 countries.
“It’s an honor to be recognized this way,” Bob Smithouser – producer of the Adventures in Odyssey Club – said about receiving “Best Digital Experience” earlier this month. “In 2020, our team set out to create a more robust online community worthy of Adventures in Odyssey. From fan feedback to awards like this from NRB, it’s always encouraging to hear we’ve hit the mark. And we’re not done. Creating the best digital experience for our fans will be an ongoing process.”
Robyn Chambers, executive director of Advocacy for Children, added her gratitude for being awarded “Best Digital Campaign” for SeeLife 2022:
“What an honor it is to receive this award. I am so humbled at the transparency of the guests who shared their stories about their reasons for choosing life. Focus on the Family is committed to continuing to share the beauty of life and being a voice for life!”
